Ministries

First Baptist church strongly believes in teaching God's word at all levels. Peter says in 2 Peter 3:18..."grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." As we grow in the Lord Jesus Christ and are equipped by the Holy Spirit, who resides in us, we overcome the pressures and trials of this present life and become more and more Christlike.

Ministry Outreach is a priority here at FBC.

Pastor g is Chaplain of The Nanty Glo Fire Company, and of all volunteer fire companies in Cambria County.  We host community activities such as Vacation Bible School, Halloween candy distribution, Chalktalks, Blacklick Valley School District activities, help organize "See You At The Pole", and participate in Nanty Glo "Light Up Night", the "Hot Chocolate Crawl", The Ministerium "Cross Walk" and Passion Week activities.
